Here is a quick overview of the steps we'll take to install a Windows XP virtual machine using an ISO file on VMware, which is running on Windows 10 or 11. In contrast, the procedures for Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows Vista will be the same.

On a computer running Windows 10/8/7, install VMware Workstation.To create a new virtual machine, launch VMware and select the Create NEW Virtual Machine button.Browse and select your winxp ISO file as the DVD or CD. Next, click and fill out the window with your information.
Set RAM and create a virtual hard disk (VMDK). (For me, 5 GB)
